Pepsi CEO and Lifelong Learner Indra Nooyi

I've long admired PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi. Prior to becoming CEO in 2006, she spent 5 years as President and CFO, Chief Financial Officer. She knows the ins and outs of corporate finance, and is one of only 22 female Fortune 500 CEOs. Over her long tenure at PepsiCo, Nooyi has spoken many times about leading a company of PepsiCo's size, and her approach to work and life.

I highly recommend checking out her interview for the MAKERS series. Her perspective on lifelong learning is what made me think of her for today's post. In addition to her experience in corporate finance, she shares Rani's love of learning. Nooyi's take:

"You're going to be a lifelong student. Be curious about everything."

She's also a proponent of supporting and promoting women in the workplace. Check out the video below for her perspective on the value of honest, timely feedback.

Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, says it's important for women to support one another in the workplace. She explains during the 2016 Women in the World Summit in New York City.
